A NEW YEAR
A NEW PAGE............................I have cleared my Blog for 2012. Nothing like a fresh start.
Sadly, I have not started the year at all well! A fall on Sunday has fractured my right wrist and I am now struggling with basic tasks. Amazingly, my left hand does seem to have some talent! Maybe my day job has helped me in this because I use a tiny mirror and often work using a reflected image. Takes a while to master but I have been practising a life time.
I can even put my makeup on! I have yet to try the hairdryer. hmmmm...could be a problem there.
Anyway, I HOPE you have had some precious family time and are easing into 2013 with care.
I went camping with my hubby and my brother & his family to an isolated beach in the Shark Bay area for the end of 2012 and start of 2013. We had a wonderful New Year- roast lamb and veggies with pavalova afterwards! Washed down with "Killer" Prosseco. New Year's day dawned perfect- flat calm waters ideal for paddling and swimming. No sharks, bigger than 20cms, only dolphins and a dugong! Heaven. Meanwhile, temperatures were extremely high at home and my poor garden is testament to that.
So what are your new year plans? Mine went down the drain the minute I slipped on the wet floor last Sunday evening.
